Well unless it's a speacility insurance then you get book value for it.
Most regular insurance company's want insure them for anything else.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

With State Farm, I needed to get an appraisel from a bodyshop, auto restorer etc. I also have $10,000.00 worth of receipts to show them what I've done. AND I'M NOT FINISHED!!! AAarggg.

Re: whats it worth to the insurance company

I got low blue book when I wrecked my 72 Blazer. But I got to keep it and they did not total it though they gave me totaled money. Insurance company tried to tell me they owned it now. Towing guys eyes lit up when he saw what he was going to bring in the yard today....Jumped right in that tow truck and told him to take it to my house. He said no so I said drop it here right now and I will call someone else. Long story.
