Chrome Repro Vent Windows
Looking at parts online, I was surprised to find complete chrome plated vent window assemblies are being reproduced and are available at most of the standard suppliers.
They’re way outside my budget, but I’m curious if anyone has seen these things in real life to know the quality level. I imagine they fit poorly like most reproduction parts, but perhaps these are the first things reproduced that actually fit? Here are a couple of examples, and prices vary widely. They are also available for 64-66. LMC wants $340 each for theirs. By comparison AmericanClassic asks $275 for the same item, and Ecklers are going for $260. http://www.ecklerstrucks.com/truck-v...1960-1963.html http://www.americanclassic.com/asp/d...=1969&ytype=to

Re: Chrome Repro Vent Windows
I think I remember seeing somebody on here that had bought them and the fit was unacceptable but I cant' remember who it was. Maybe they will speak up.

Re: Chrome Repro Vent Windows
A local shop put some in from Dynacorn and they were really impressed with the quality and the fit. They looked pretty good to me.

Re: Chrome Repro Vent Windows
Thanks everyone for your input. Should the price ever come down or I win the lottery it would be nice to know if they're worth the investment.
And welcome to the forum FillingStation!
