Radiator for my 51 3800.
Has any one here used a aluminum champion radiator ( its suppose to bolt in ) my old one is plugged and needs to be recored . This is supposed to be a bolt in and 3 row as well.I am just trying to see before i drop the dough.

I put one in my 49 with a 350 it bolts right in and seems to cool good no problems so far

Ok thanks. Any one else out there. let me know what to look for etc. Mine is the original and I just put a 250 and a 2004r in and it takes a while but it gets a little warmer than I like . I took a infrared heat gun and scoped the radiator and then the head, thermostat housing , and even where the heat sender is and even though the radiator tank is about 185 the head etc is much warmer - a lot warmer than I like - water pump and impeller check out , as does the thermostat-so I figure it is not flowing enough water .
Sound off guys you won't hurt my feelings - better to do it once than twice, etc. |

I just put one in my 51. Bolts right in and cools my 350 very well.
