from a pile to a sweet patina truck....

I bought this truck back in November of last year. it was an original solid body minus the motor and tranny. The floors and rockers where in need of some help and the interior was shot. So over the course of this year with spare time and a lot of reconditioned and new parts my buddy, and i were able to return this truck back to it's former glory. I think we actully took it to another level. With a fresh 350 and turbo 400 the truck now cruises down the road with minimal effort. Sporting an all new interior to boot as well as the little touches done on the truck have returned it in style. I followed after LOLIFE in his build of a sweet fleet side truck but in a long bed version. I hope you like how the truck retains it's original paint only to add to it's cool patina look. I hope whom ever buys this Ca. truck will enjoy it as much as i have....

Re: from a pile to a sweet patina truck....

I really enjoyed seeing the transformation that this truck went through from lowering to the new interior. The satisfaction of bringing it back to life is the coolest part...

Re: from a pile to a sweet patina truck....

I really enjoyed working on this truck. I am now gearing up to build a cool shop truck out of an old 67 long bed that someone left for dead. Staytuned for this cool truck build , I plan to run the straight 6 with a turbo 350 should be a cool cruiser with some cool parts that i've collected over the years.....
