It's free from Jackstand Jail!! Finally..AHH
So I actually drove it today, MAN what a feeling! Not like that Echo I drive every day at all! Next year I will paint it but for now the pockets are too shallow. What do you think? The tires are a bit small but big ones cost bank.

Looks good, rolling is always better.
Might try haunting a few tire stores and CL for a set the size you are thinking about running. They are a good way to sort things like clearance issues and confirm gear choices before spending a lot for tires you are stuck with if there is a clearance or gearing problem.

Such a great feeling being able to move a project under its own power.
Good looking truck you have.

Re: It's free from Jackstand Jail!! Finally..AHH
Thanks guys! Stay tuned for the budget paint job til next year when the real deal comes along..
And hey Reno..It does feel good! And I would be interested in those wheels except it's eight lugs... Put about ten miles on it today. Gotta get up in the morning and recheck all the bolts. And do some wheeling!

Re: It's free from Jackstand Jail!! Finally..AHH
looks like you have a real nice start, it does take a while some times to get the items we want to finish our trucks, it looking good now...just think how good it will look with a new paint job, and new wheels....but at least you can drive it till it happens..
