Quick question so anyone out there that has installed a 67/68 front clip on 69-72 frame what did you use for the core support mounts 67-68 style or the later? The reason I ask is the actual mount brackets on the frame have different size holes.
Any help would be great

Well i just went throuh this and the 69-72 are too tall and so are the 67-68 bushings. After stetting the body on the 72 4 wheel drive frame, even with shims between the body and rubber bushings i only had about 1/8 clearing under the core support and frame when the fenders lined up correctly with the cab body lines. So i just used a peice of rubber for the shim between the core support and frame. If any body else has any suggestions on why this is i would be happy to hear it, i thought it was because frame are a little different up front.

67-68 core support mounts are a flat piece of rubber.
Not at all like the 69-72 mounts.
I would use a large fender washer to cover the frame bracket's larger hole,... and then use the correct 67-68 rubber washer.

I used 69-72 mounts on my 68 GMC. I just increased the hole on the frame mounts. It worked great.
