Re: New here, Hi!

I love the trim/big window. It also has a SBC350 and runs great. Working on the breaks and a static drop.

Sorry guys I just saw this.

LB long bed, FS Fleet Side, BBW well you know.

Fleetside is what Chevy called them and what I've known for over 40 years. I had to learn LWB here.

Solid looking truck for that far north. Great looking truck and welcome. Has the custom trim package also...nice. What are your plans with it?

I love the Patina, so right now fix a two inch hole in the pass side floor, new breaks (drums) for now. Static drop, then pull the bed and raptor liner the inner of the bed/ wheel wells. Then I am a wood worker, so new wood bed, I will probably repaint the back half the frame and all new rubber and wiring. This should get me through winter.

Re: New here, Hi!

Thanks guys.

I had to put new tires on it right away, I had a blowout like the 3rd time I took it out. It had 4 different tires and all of them were over 10 years old, I pulled the drums off and the shoes fell off. So time for some rear end work.
I have new spring going in the rear this weekend.

First, welcome to the forum. Second, I'd think you can get all you need for the brakes locally--AutoZone, Advanced A/P, O'Reilly's, etc. Very solid-looking ride, btw, to begin having fun with. Just make it safe/functional & enjoy right away. Or, go all the way. Or in-between to just suit YOUR taste--all possibilities exist as it appears to not have been 'messed with'........yet!?

Re: New here, Hi!

So I ended up just converting it to all disc, then while I was at it decided I might as well get a porter built stage 1 front and stage 2 deluxe rear.
