Adding A/C to a non A/C cab
Has anyone taken the A/C set up out of one truck and added it to a non A/C cab? Is it possible?

It has been done. You would have to cut holes for all the vents in the dash 3 of them and under the cowl it is a little differnt for AC cabs but you might be able to get away without changing that.

I bought a whole dash/firewall cut off with all the factory components intact. I will tack pics as i disassemble it to reference to. I plan on changing out the metal dash panel to avoid the hole cutting job. (My current dash is full of unwanted holes from PO's too!) It came with all the engine mounted components too. It looks like a big job, but it will also look factory when it's done, and have the cowl vent doors to get Max AC capacity.
