Can't figure out what type of transmission I have

I have a 1964 chevy c10 with a 292 engine backed by a 3 speed manual - I cna't figure out for the life of me what type it is - Can you walk me through this problem - I would like to either replace it or at least replace the gaskets that appear to be leaking but I'm stuck not knowing what to buy???

This link doesn't list every possible transmission, it's a good reference for identifying the more common ones ... http://www.roadkillcustoms.com/hot-r...tification.asp

Re: Can't figure out what type of transmission I have

Thanks for the help - The transmission works fine it just leaks oil from the filler plug and the driver side panel (as you can see from the picute) - What is the best way to solve these two problems? - also a small leak at the rear seal / shaft

Re: Can't figure out what type of transmission I have

Gasket kits are still available, and that will help the side cover. Might try some teflon tape on the plugs.
