How about a 10 wheel drive build?
Called about a Clark 5 speed 204VO overdrive trans and talked to this guy who is parting out a truck made by the Memphis Truck Co...a truck used in logging called a Tugger that only 5 were made of this style. This rig had a GMC 302 straight six with the Clark 5 speed, behind that is a divorced auxillary 3 speed trans..Spicer 5831-F, followed by a huge divorced transfer case with 2 rear outputs for tandem axles. This thing only had 8,000 miles on it, hes sold the motor but has everything else, I sure would have liked to see it when it was all together!

Re: How about a 10 wheel drive build?
I would have liked to see that truck. Why did he part it out? Seems foolish to me,being an antique truck buff. I'd guarantee an American truck history buff would have paid decent money for such a rare rig. Was it a GMC truck or just GMC powered? If not a GMC,what type of body was on it? A unique utilitarian cab?
