Re: Show us your tow trucks
Looks like a nice dovetail flatbed truck. How long is the bed? Here are some nice tow truck pics I had saved. My tow truck is a '71,so...

Re: Show us your tow trucks
Hey,I know it's an earlier model, but I just stumbled on mine and it's on bangshift.com as a great junk project for $2,500 . I'm glad they think so. I've listed it for that here and there a couple times for a few years, yet no sale yet. I'm not trying too hard cuz I'd kinda like to keep it. It's not like I chase buyers off or anything like that. I never even tried this year, yet I get e-mails from old listings still. I reply and nada. If it's around when I ever get back on solid ground it surely will stay.
http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&c...:66,s:20,i:336 I saw it on Google and expected it to be from here. Just find it funny it was on some website as an example

Re: Show us your tow trucks
the gas pedal is still on the right, if it was flipped the gas pedal would be next to the trans hump. Gold Coast is down under. Nice truck though

Re: Show us your tow trucks
from 73 to 81 GMH (General Motors Australia) offerd the chevy trucks to compete with the ford F trucks, labeled as "tuff trucks" they were not as popular as the Holden utes of the time. and yes they were factory right hand drive with the biggist engine available for the Australian market being the 350.
As far as I know we got the Custom Deluxe base model and thats all. they came in C10 C20 and C30 sizes my truck still has its original 010 block 350 Last edited by C30trailerspecial; 03-13-2014 at 02:54 PM. |

Re: Show us your tow trucks
Very neat truck C30, both for it being right hand drive and the work you've done on the bed! That would be the perfect hauler for a mud/trail truck!

Re: Show us your tow trucks
This is my 82 3/4 ton. electric winch &tow sling. Automatic and cold air cond. The crankshaft is bad it ate two bearings. the 350 used to much gas anyway. I built a 283 with 602 305 heads and a two bbl carb. Now that the weather is getting better Ill change the engine.
