New Seat, Is it Original ?

I picked up this 1972 bench seat from our local on-line classifieds site. Can anyone tell if this an original seat? I'm thinking the vinyl is original but not sure about the cloth inserts. The little brown tags attached to the frame say "GM Bench Seat". I have a new black and white houndstooth seat cover from Truckseats to go on here.

Re: New Seat, Is it Original ?

that is an original seat, correct for your truck. The inserts are not correct. Your new seat cover will fit.

I'd be interested in the old cover if you decide to sell.

Re: New Seat, Is it Original ?

Let's not turn this into a sale thread or conduct transactions via PM... history has shown that it often leads to issues... If it's for sale then place an ad in the classifieds, you can tell everyone that Brian Atkinson is first in line if you want... thanks

I wish you moderators wouldn't jump the gun so fast. How do you know that if and when I decide to sell it I wouldn't post it on the board and let Brian know its there and he has first dibs.

He isn't "jumping the gun". He is just giving a reminder, that's all. It's not like you are in trouble or anything
