NP205 identification?

I stumbled upon a NP205 at the junkyard yesterday and am curious what it might be out of. Sorry didnt get photos but the tag says 205 and the seconf line says 1-9-78. Is the second line the date of manufacture? Here's the strange thing; it's a Driver Side drop and has the 6 bolt round pattern. I thought the six bolt style came much later if it was made in 78? Could this be an early ford 205?

Re: NP205 identification?

Ford used 6 bolt round, GM wasn't till 86, and I think Dodge used it too. They look the same pattern, but the Ford is off on two of the holes. Clocking is different too, but can be made to work. I had one on my old 89 that I SAS'd.
