slip shaft driveline?
does anybody use a slip shaft driveline? i was told it was a must for lowered trucks... its 200 bucks plus carrier bearing.
anybody have one? where did you get it? like it?

Slip yolk in the middle? Stock with a 3/4 ton truck.....yes i like it, havent broken the driveline in the last 10 or so yrs...ate a few U joint tho! BB olds was a powerhouse

heh heh heh Us longhorn owners are lucky on this one. I never had a problem out of the one on the old blue longhorn, however, the one ton sat long enough that the two halves froze together that it took 2 guys 3 hrs and a cutting torch to get the 2 pieces apart.
The lesson for all on that...if there is a zerk fitting...stuff it with grease. |

they have one for sale and they say it is a must for lowered trucks. longhorns are cool trucks... i saw a 73-87 that had longhorn on the side right behind the cab on a little thing he had behind the cab... i dont think it was a longhorn... lol... but ive seen yalls trucks. they are cool.
