Re: stepside tire carrier
I have seen one with a 17 and I believe also a 20. Just depends on the overall diameter size of the wheel/tire combo.

Re: stepside tire carrier
I am actually still in the process of locating a mount. realized there is no saving mine unless i piece it together but i want it to look original so i have to find one. but im starting to look for wheels and the size of this one will determine the outcome of the rest

Re: stepside tire carrier
I put a 215/70/15 on mine and still have plenty of room left. But I also tried a 235/70/15 and it was real close.

Re: stepside tire carrier
When I had it, I had a 255/70x15 on 8" wide ralleys as well as the 235/75x15 and they cleared with no issues. Both those tire/wheel combos are 29"(ish) tall. So anything around that will fit. Your wheel offset may make it sit close to the bed, but you could use a cheapy spacer (and no issues of it coming off).
BTW a 275/50x17 is less than 28" tall and a 275/45x20 is 29.8" tall.
