Re: Finally got the hood painted

Thanks people, now the second hardest thing to do is put it on and line it up where it closes good. Any suggestions from anybody that has found a easy way to do this. If I am not mistaken, if I set my hinges lower in the back it brings the back of the hood down. Its been a long time since I have had to put one on.

Re: Finally got the hood painted

First off find a couple very careful friends to help you i also used 3m scotchcal tape [the clear protective tape they use on hoods for stone protection] on the back sides of the hinge to protect the paint on the fenders when adjusting the hood. You will not see the tape when the hinge is bolted on.
