I'm in the process of putting a 6.0 in my truck, my question is how do I wire in my gauges also what is he best way to wire in the speedo.

Yes sir. I am also looking into aftermarket, but at this moment I am referring to stock.

It's going to be really hard and expensive to use the stock gauge setup. Highly recommend you look at the Dakota Digital VHX setup. They are a great buy for the price and are very versatile (easy to add more gauges if necessary). Boardmember Pro_performance has been running some really good deals on these. Let me know if you have any more questions, I've purchased 3 sets for my projects.

I have looked at some of Dakota's gauges. Also what if I purchased some auto meter electric gauges? Should those wire in directly?

Yes, that will work too. But you'll probably spend about the same amount of money and have to do a lot of extra wiring....

. How about some detail on your motor? I'm getting ready to pull the 383 out of my 68 and do something similar. I've got a TVS1900 Magnacharger and I'm trying to figure out if I'm going with a 6.0 or a 6.2.

Thank you, and that dakota dash does look very sexy. I got an LQ4 from a 2005 Silverado, so I'm putting LS3 heads and intake on it. I am also having a CAM spec'd by Texas-speed. If you are wanting to put a blower on a 6.0 I have some 317 heads that will probably be right up your alley.

Are those considered L92's? What's been done to them and how much? Have you already bought the LS6 intake?
