My future project?? A panel, maybe
Looking at this. My neighbor and I saw it for the first time tonight. Sorry for the cell phone pics. The wood floor is solid, the dash is uncut. The bottom of the fenders are flimsy from rot. The hood seems to be fair except for the front lip. The bottom of the right door is pretty solid. The left 1/4 had rust thru with some filler flaking off. It was dark couldn't see much more. It has a 6 and was running when parked. I don't know how long that has been. Has 6 lug wheels and a B7M floor shift auto. Also comes with 2 barn doors imported from Californis that are rust free. The roof appears to be straight and gutters are clean.
Gonna go back in the daylight to see what else hidding. Thoughts on a price? He has his price. I think it's fair, but want some input. Its a vague question since I don't even know the full condition.

Re: My future project?? A panel, maybe
I'd go 3-4K on it. If it was a west coast I'd say 2-3K. If the foot area of the floors are rotten there isn't a direct patch panel for it. Nor for the step area behind the frt seats. Wiring should be replaced.
Good luck. Posted via Mobile Device

2 california barn doors and some inner/outer rockers and floor panels. There's also some seats.

she is pretty rough alan, but if anyone could fix, you can. was the price about what you thought it was worth?

Re: My future project?? A panel, maybe
It is always much nicer finding them with original paint, who knows what is under that repaint....
I would offer $500

He is firm on $2500 and that comes with the California barn doors, patch panels, seats for what it's worth. I really want a burb, but the cheapest burb around here is at $4200 and it's not in any better shape. They were at $6500 a year ago. Here are some comparisons for this area. $4200 1965 Burb CL ad $5800 1966 Burb CL ad $6450 1963 Panel old restoration I'm really undecided on the purchase. Thanks for the input guys!!

Re: My future project?? A panel, maybe
my vote is to keep searching for a Burb...i've seen those ads of the two you posted in the links above & started to ask if they were near you...seems they've been listed quite a while!

Re: My future project?? A panel, maybe
the panel was looking pretty good for a minute and then she went abit down hill, but with high level of skills tough call with the winshield cancers,I live were we don't have to deal with those issues (i am lucky on that) 1200 would be a good deal if i was buying it my 2cents

I am with Dino, no more than 1500 and I think that isway fair. There is 10K in rust repair alone at a shop.
