Quick Question!

Can you all tell me if I can use 72 upper and lower control arms on my 68?

Thank you ahead of time

Re: Quick Question!

their the same, but if you keep your stock drum brake spindles youll have to put those ball joints in them as the ball joints for the 71-72s are different, but the arms are the same

Re: Quick Question!

So the only thing I need to worry about as far as parts are concerned where they are different are upper and lower ball joints right? I have ece 2.5" drop spindles, they were ordered for my truck which is a 68, but I got the ones for disc brakes and are 5 lug... Anyone know if there is a difference between 68 and 72 besides disc brakes and 5 lug?

Re: Quick Question!

The brake lines are routed different out to the wheels between drum and disc trucks.

You ball joints must match the year that you ordered the spindles for, in this case 68.

Excluding the ball joints, the rest of the arms are the same between the 68 and 72. Use whichever you prefer, but the ball joints you install into them must be for the spindles.
