Honing motorcycle cylinder ?

Hey guys im working on a 79 yamaha xs650 project, and i just did a valve job cuz of some bent valves, while the motor is apart i replaced the piston rings and cleaned up the piston. I did some measuring on the clearances with the new rings in the cylinder (on piston) and everything was to spec. My question is should i hone the cylinder before i reassemble? and if so should i use a ball hone or the stone spring hone..with the clearances to spec and new stock rings i dont want to risk the new rings not sealing properly..any thoughts??
