Excellent 6 cyl engine with lots of goodies
I have a Chevy 6 cyl engine that is loaded with goodies. Was told that it was rebuilt with best of parts and has low miles, but unfortunately do not have any other info on the rebuild. As u can see it has an Offy intake with 3 one barrel carbs, progressive linkage, split headers (Fenton?), and an Offy valve cover.
Asking $800

Re: Excellent 6 cyl engine with lots of goodies
If someone just wants to run it as a stock one carb engine...I would be interested in the intake & carb setup & maybe valve cover.
thanks, frank |

Re: Excellent 6 cyl engine with lots of goodies
Scott...what would you want for the intake, carbs, linkage, header, and valve cover...it would probably cost me too much to put the motor on a pallet and ship to chicago. lets see where we end up with these parts...

Re: Excellent 6 cyl engine with lots of goodies
Guys, I have several requests for me to split up the engine.
Just to let everyone know I WILL NOT split it up, all or nothing. I will come down to $800 to help with shipping costs. Hope that helps. Scott

Re: Excellent 6 cyl engine with lots of goodies
Guys, I'm willing to help out but its up to u to arrange shipping. I will strap it down to the platform it is on, which is strong, rolls and is easy to move it around. My zip code is 08753, u might try uship.com as I have used them before for shipping items.
Scott

Re: Excellent 6 cyl engine with lots of goodies
...and I sure hope you might be considering selling those smaller parts. If you do I just want to make it clear I am still ready and in the first position (#3 above) to buy. thanks again, frank

Re: Excellent 6 cyl engine with lots of goodies
Please note as mentioned earlier shipping is up to the buyer to look into.
Once again I will repeat myself, I am NOT splitting this up. I have a local buyer interested, will update this if the engine sells. Scott
