once something goes in that yard thats the end--its cubed and sent to guess where........

That seems SO DAMN DUMB!

I'm sure they paid "X" for it - the metal value essentially. And someone comes along and is willing to pay them MORE for it just to let it pass back through their gates for 2 or 3"X" plus whatever administrative paperwork is involved....and they won't do it? Makes no sense to me unless there is some irrevocable paperwork already filed with the government.

It's the same here at Pull-A-Part. They won't sell a complete vehicle but as far as I know, you can buy any part of it.

Too bad. I think rust free vehicles should be saved. Someone would rebuild it and they are only getting more scarce.
