I have a great wife!

I so have a great wife. She sees me buying so many items for the truck. She sees me working on it for hours. She knows I am letting a few home projects go or stalling on them. All she has said is "I didn't know it would take that much work." and she's only said it once.

I am truly a lucky man.

Re: I have a great wife!

Yep - me too. Hang on to her man. Call and schedule a girl day for her at a local hair place, finger nails, stuff like that.

I did it a while back. Just drop $200 or so and say .. "I'm going to send her over at 9am on Sat" just take care of her .. PLUS you'll have all day to work on your truck!

Sometimes you gotta give back !

Take it easy.

Re: I have a great wife!

Im lucky too. My wife is 8 months pregnant and she knows I'm trying to finish the front disc conversion on my truck before the baby comes but also wants to spend time with me before the baby comes too. This morning I asked what she wanted to do tonight and she said "why dont you bring a nice comfy chair out to the garage and I can read my book while you work on the truck?"

Great idea

Re: I have a great wife!

Awesome! Just make sure you take the chair back in when she's not in the garage. Comfy chairs/couches in garages make for not much productivity, speaking from experience.

My wife asked me what engine was going in it, then how much horsepower it would have. Then told me it BETTER have at least 450hp. God I love her.

Re: I have a great wife!

My ex-wife considered any rig with 2 or 4 wheels to be a hole in the shop floor that you shovel money into.

I've been away from her now for almost 9 years.

I've been with my girlfriend now for almost 2 years. She loves my trucks, my dirtbikes, and anything to do with speed or dirt. She also loves to fish and hunt. I am truly a blessed man.

Re: I have a great wife!

Last week the wife came into the garage with a SS battery tray, Chrome power brake and master cylinder, and Polished aluminum threshold plates and said Merry Christmas, and then handed me a ice cold beer. The best in the west she is..

y Gary. When my wife says that I tell her,"Well, it's not my pit. It's yours." It was her dads truck.
She is a good woman though. She has put up with me for 28 years.

You're also a stupid man if you don't marry her.

Re: I have a great wife!

Never underestimate how long you should sit at dinner after your wife slaved over the stove to make it and you can't wait to run back out and finish working on that last little thing on the truck. I will learn to enjoy it, let it marinate and then go finish when she gets in the tub. lol
