Just some food for thought... the bed sides extend about an inch and a half past the front bed pan. Something special will have to be done up there or it will hit the cab.

Re: 58 chevy fleetside .

Thats good advise .I have seen some in the classic truck magazine with some nice ones ,but never noticed the info on the model or sizes they used. Also no one says wheater they had to modify the bed or cover to make it work. Maybe someone has an artical out there that would discribe the process. wsurf4me. Ill try to keep you updated on the info i gather Tony

Re: 58 chevy fleetside .

Put the bed tgether and get a upholstery shop to make you one. that way ti will fit right!
there are a lot or varieables and after market oned don't always fit right.

Re: 58 chevy fleetside .

That wont work for me.I am looking to put on a fiberglass tonnaue cover .That is why knowing the exact mesurement points is inpotant .This time of year seems to produce the best deals on a used one . I dont have a heated garage, so putting it together now is tough.Im just trying to figure what size will work the closest.Tony
