? on Susp. Travel with 4in drop up front
Hope some of you can help me out with this question. How much suspension travel will I have left up front after doing a 4" drop using 2" spindle and 2" spring drop?

You will have plenty of suspension travel, the issue will be tire to inner fender clearance. I have 2.5" spindles and 2" springs with a 28" tall front tire and find it to work pretty well.

Unless you are using a shorter shock there will be no change in the ammount of suspension travel. You will have 2" less that the wheel can travel up and 2" more the wheel can travel down (not accounting for tire to fender clearance)

Hey guys, Thanks. This is all new to me. Have a set of old school slots with 255/70/15's that I think are either 15x8 or 15x10 tires on the wheels measure out around 28.5 mayby 29 Just hoping the will fit with enough clearance. ordered CPP 4/5 drop with new Mod spindles.
