Help, Engine Identification
Seller told me that the '65 I bought had the factory 327. After reading a bit, I do not believe they offered a 327 in 1965. I picked up the following code on the front of the block on the passenger side, F0II8WF. Can't quite read the number on the back of the block yet. Any idea what engine block this is from the code identification numbers above? Thanks for the help.

Re: Help, Engine Identification
First letter should be where it was made, F would be Flint. Second 2 numbers should be the month so 01 would be Jan. The next should be the day 18. WF would be something in 1968 69 possibly a 307 or 350.

68 307 c10 or 69 350 C50. If I was a betting man I would say you have a 307.
