Satan's Mistress
Hey everybody, yes I’m new to this or for that matter any online forum. Upon the advice taken from my wife, who really is the one that suggested that I join something like this, I’m diving right in, with both feet first. I’m sure it has something to do with the fact that she enjoys making fun of me all the time as I’m “that guy” that inadvertently traps people into looking at my work via my i-phone, or maybe I’m trying to expand my net to capture more victims such as yourself.
Enough of the reasons why I’m sharing my motivation for small time fame, and onto my project that I hope you’ll enjoy following, as I have enjoyed looking at some of your projects on the site. If I have to name it to give it an identity so to speak the only phase that I can think of right now is “Satan’s Mistress,” as again my wife thinks that it has been the primary focus of available time, while I’m awake and while I’m sleeping. My quest to find a ‘67-‘72 C-10 wasn’t really a difficult, however the make and model might surprise many once I share the overall plan for this build. Back in October, a friend of mind informed me that a ’71 long-bed C-10 was up for sale in someone’s back-yard not too far from my house. That Saturday morning I gathered my truck and trailer and all the cash that my bank’s ATM machine would give me and made a mad dash to pick up my latest obsession. So let me shut up now and give you a look at what I picked up, but stay tuned as I’ll keep posting stuff when I’m not working on it…. |
