67-72 Factory Tach Dash Rebuild Thread

I wanted to publicly thank member 72BlckButy for taking the time to document his tach dash rebuild.
All of the pics and info are located in the "Electrical FAQ" Section.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: 67-72 Factory Tach Dash Rebuild Thread

I've debated on buying a reproduction or just building the original tach dash I have. Where can I find good quality gauges (mine are covered in surface rust)

I would watch the parts board. The 6 cyl tach pictured and the tins (also from a 6 cyl setup - complete with gauges) came from fellow members. The repop bezel came from Classic Parts in KC because we were coming through the area. The NOS circuit board also came from another board member. Use the site to your advantage.

The rebuild process is super easy to if you can find the parts cheap enough it will beat the repop ones hands down.
