Radiator Swap
67 6 cylinder Raditor to a Radiator that will hold up to a Mild built 454.
What radiator's have you used and what brackets are needed. I have read bits and pieces around this forum but wondered if anyone had a quick list put together of what they had to do. |

Re: Radiator Swap
Just use a stock 4 row, and use the 4 row upper and lower mounts. EZPZ.

Re: Radiator Swap
Almost every vendor on this board sells them. I ordered mine from Wes at Classic Heartbeat (site vendor), and they were NOS GM parts.

Re: Radiator Swap
Exactly like the others said... I have a mild 454 and has the 4 row radiator with trans cooler lines and works perfect. Brackets are an easy find and change your body mounts under the radiator while you have it out.

Re: Radiator Swap
Ordered a 4 core from Advance. Shipping it to the house, Online had a 20% off sale so that works. 3 core was without AC and 4 core was with in case anyone else is looking one of these up.

Re: Radiator Swap
I'm not sure but not all rad supports are made to hold four core mounts unless it came four core, nothing a little notching out can't take care of so the mounts lay flat. Well that's how my good friend took care of it and it looks and works good.
