How many rim sizes are there?

I was just reading the thread about the truck that sold at Barrett-Jackson. My 63 K20 had 17" split rims on it I think. I didn't know they come out with 19" rims as well. What other sizes of rims did they come out with and which trucks did they come on.

Re: How many rim sizes are there?

Its hard to say about the BJ 62 what was on there for sure. My guess is this wheel, 16x5.

This wheel was same for 1958-1962 for sure maybe earlier.

I have a 64 K10 with its original 16x5 "no clip" wheels, they have the nubs for the hubcaps, a 1965 K10 with its original 15x5.5 wheels. From what Im seeing 15,16 and 17.5x7 are the three half ton 4x4 wheels. 3/4 ton wheels had a few more available sizes.

Re: How many rim sizes are there?

here is a 15" 8stud split rim on a 62 3/4t. there was anywhere from 15-19 1/2" rims that fit the light duty trucks. you will also see either tubelss or tube type tires. tube type went with split rims

Re: How many rim sizes are there?

Thanks. Before I had my 63 K20 I would have never guessed that they would have had bigger than 15" rims.
