Suggestions on Fate of this Truck

I just took delivery of this find and am looking for suggestions or comments on what to do. Should I do minor mods including lowering and wheels or take her all the way down and frame up with a radical build. This is a 79 model that is 100% original with 109k on the odometer. It was purchased new and stored for 8 years before being driven. I am very proud of this find and heck for the right price or trade it might can become someone else's find. Any questions or comments please feel free to chime in. Mike

Ok folks I have decided to flip this truck due to not wanting to modify it per everyones thoughts and suggestions. With that said the truck will go to the highest offer. Please be reasonable and I am open to c10 trades if they are right. By that I mean frame offed and either needing some work or done. Let your fingers do the typing.

Ok here we go wheels today and headed to the drop shop soon. How low do I need to go?

Re: Suggestions on Fate of this Truck

I would be tempted to do some minor mods and leave it alone. What a great find!

Re: Suggestions on Fate of this Truck

I would say minor mods and better wider tires. And a red instead of black top

15 x 8 Rallye wheels, get it as low as you want go, get the AC working well, a nice stereo where you don't cut up the dash, then just drive and enjoy.

Put some wheels on it and drive it. Nice blazer. You don't find a 2wd often.

I'd do what ever you want to it. It is your "sky's the limit project" so make it what you can. I say we get one chance at life. Do you want to go to saint peter in great shape and a full bank account? Have fun with it and no i'm not a vendor lol.

Re: Suggestions on Fate of this Truck

hey thats nice! well if you ask me there is only one thing to do since its so nice, and that is to take the springs out completely! you can run some 2x4s instead to get that "super sweet slammed stance!" then put some 22s on it with as small a sidewall as you can find so it rides nice and smooth! and then while your out cruising with your homies or dawgs you can slap hoes and they can comment on how nice yo whip is! then it will be even nicer when you grind everything off the frame and knock the front bumper off on a speedbump!

Re: Suggestions on Fate of this Truck

Leave it alone, drive it as is and enjoy it. Since you hint at flipping it, even if that happens 2-3 years down the road, it's easier to sell and more than likely worth more left stock, since it appeals to a larger market that way.

Everything known to man is lowered anymore, dime a dozen, tired of seeing it, and depending on how it's done, will only appeal to ones particular taste.

They are only original once.

That truck deserves to be preserved, not modified.

Ditto!

If you want to modify a Blazer, go save one from the crusher. This one deserves to be preserved.

I'm confused by your posts. Do you like lowered trucks or not?

To the OP, beautiful blazer!!!
