What proportioning valve for disk/disk conversion?
I changed out my rear drums for disks. Does anyone have a recommendation for what proportioning valve I should run or what will work?

You'll also need a different master cylinder. I'd contact one of the aftermarket brake companies, Wilwood, etc and get recommendations.

I used the Right Stuff PV72 when I converted my dually to rear disc. Got it from Jegs.

you should be able to go to the local auto parts store and ask for a M/C for a 78 corvette. then look online do a search for a PV4 porpotioning valve and then your good to go.
here Iv used this guy before. http://compare.ebay.com/like/2501981..._lwgsi=y&cbt=y |

It will work with the existing setup. I swapped to disc when I swapped out my 10 Bolt. I cannot imagine it working much better than it does, but I am not a brake engineer.

Re: What proportioning valve for disk/disk conversion?
You should also change the combination valve located on the front crossmember. The factory one contains a residual pressure valve for the rear drum brakes which is not ideal on a disc brake. Wilwood makes a combo valve with an adjustable prop valve all in one. Speedway Motors sells one also. The one mrhino links to is also a great option. Wilwood makes a nice adjustable that you can add to any brake system. And you still need to change the master. I used the corvette master (manual non power) for several years on my old C10 with Lincoln rear disc worked good.
