tire question

I finally picked up some decent wheels for my 83 C10 but 2 of them need tires. currently they have 275/60/15 on 15x8 eagal wheels. Im planning to do a 3/5 drop in the near future and wondering if i should step down to a 255/60/15 for the front for a little extra clearance but also to help the ride height a bit. Any thoughts? Currently has stockers with 225/75/15.

Ive seen that run up front as well. You dont think it`ll look too small compared to the rear 275/60`s? Not going to be able to lower it right away either so dont want it looking goofy untill I can do it.

are you running a 245/60/15-275/60/15 combo? I thought you always ran the 50 series tores on your truck.

Re: tire question

This pic is all 245/60/15's, I did have 275/50/15's but BFG quit making them, the 245's are the same diameter but not as wide as the 275's

Re: tire question

Get the tires that look good AFTER you drop it, it wont matter what they look like now if its not staying that way.

Re: tire question

It'll be fine with 275s. I run 275/60/15 on all four corners with a 4/4 drop and nothing rubs.
