67 gmc
I am having a hard time finding this type of fabric for my 67 gmc, all i can find are the vinyls. I called a few upholstery shops and they have no clue. Also from 67-72 was there a heavy duty 3/4 ton and a light duty 3/4 ton? I know there was in the 73-87. I was looking at a 72 1 ton and every thing looked the same as mine even the suspension.

Re: 67 gmc
I work for an upholstered furniture manufacturer here in MS, and that looks like a lot of the fabrics they are using on home furniture these days. You maybe able to get a small swatch from your seat and take to a furniture repair shop in your area and they can match it up with something close.

Re: 67 gmc
I don't believe you can get an off the shelf lift kit for a pre-69 GM. The springs are wider. I've heard of guys using the later leafs with spacers, but I'd either go to a spring shop or a custom off road spring company, like Deaver. They can make ones that ride better,no just higher.

Re: 67 gmc
Are you taking a sample of the upholstery in? I assume you know it's custom right, that is not factory upholstery.

Re: 67 gmc
I figured that was factory because it matches the door panels and even the gas tank cover. What would have been in this truck from the factory in a super custom?

Re: 67 gmc
It is definitely not factory, neither is the covering on the door panels or gas tank cover. Vinyl would be factory. I will find some pictures of factory interiors for you.
Edit: I took this from another thread, it gives you a good idea of the material and design. There are more photos here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=515454

Re: 67 gmc
Ok that gives me a good idea, I'm am trying to get the truck as close to factory as possible. That end the search for that upholstery, for the springs I was trying to figure out if there was a camper special in 67, I would like to leave it at stock height and get original wheels eventually, I appreciate everybody's help.
