What was the long spring behind the drivers seat for?
I'm going to start my Blazer build soon, Can anyone tell me what the long spring behind the drivers seat was meant to attach to or secure to the body? Ive thought it could be for a jack setup, but it doesn't seem to make sense on how to attach everything?

I believe it holds the jack down.

It's for the lug wrench and jack handle. The jack just gets stuffed between the tire carrier and spring.
Here is the jack stowage decal. .
