Pitman arm on 73-87 steering gear

The pitman arm on my '67 is wearing out. I believe the PO put a newer power steering gear on the truck because he cut the bumper bracket a little to make it fit. I just need to find out if I need to order a pitman arm for a '67 or for a newer truck? Are the spline counts the same between various years? Or is the length and/or the offset different on the newer trucks? Any help on which part to order would be appreciated.

Re: Pitman arm on 73-87 steering gear

Is it 2wd or 4wd
The taper on the centerlink on 2wd is the same. Order a moog pitman arm for the year of the steering box

Thanks for the quick reply, I am not sure what year the box is, as far as i can tell from pictures they all look the same. Do you know any defining feature or casting number? Thanks

I'll have to double check the book tomorrow. But I'm almost 100% sure it's the same from 73 to 85. If its pwr steering variable ratio. K6143 moog
