Throttle linkage to q-jet
Im planning on running a q-jet on my 283 in my 61 gmc (on a 63 chevy frame) do have you guys run your linkages for the throttle?

It's a bit of work, but you can modify your linkage to work. I can't take a picture of mine right now, but if someone else hasn't done it by the time I can, I'll snap a shot of mine for you.
If you don't like it that way, you can get the pedal and cable from a newer truck. |

Not a QJet in this photo, but this rod is a reproduction piece for a 67 Camaro with 396, and it works nice. One end threads into the other end, so it has a lot of adjustment for length. Should work OK on a QJet.

That looks like what I need to do! i found a universal linkage like that on JEGS that you can adujst from bothe ends so i think illl get one of those, thanks for the pic!
