1965 C10 Frame off restoration

I had been using a different forum and then came across this one. There is so much useful information here so thought I should post.

Got my 65 Stepside last fall and have gotten the frame cleaned up and coated. Had the rear end and transmission rebuilt. Put on 2 1/2 inch drop front disc brakes, new springs and steering. Put in a new cam and roller rockers, HEI distributor (with a clear cap, can't wait to see it running at night), Edelbrock intake. Cleaned it up and got into the frame. Put in a CPP crossmember for the transmission.

Below is a picture of the frame and motor plus a link to all of the pictures. Starting to work on replacing cab floors and am very happy to be using all of the good posts on replacing the floors.

Wow - you've made a ton of progress... super jealous - started my frame off in late november and I still don't have the frame cleaned up - nice work! Can wait to see this come together.

Re: 1965 C10 Frame off restoration

Thanks to everyone! Will be adding some new pictures on the cab work. Spent a day extending the door pillar that the previous owner cut off.

Here are the pictures I originally tried to insert. (Hope it works this time!)
