283 valve cover on a 350?

Has anyone retro fit the 283 "Chevrolet" script valve covers to a 350? Im looking for ideas on how to do the oil fill and pcv with out wrecking the retro look. can the pcv be eliminated? I'm running an eddy performer rpm intake. 800cfm qj on a mild Built 355 with factory head castings

Drill out the oil fill tube hole in intake and run the pcv there it drill the rear of the valve cover for the pcv valve and fresh air hose.

Re: 283 valve cover on a 350?

That was my exact thought but I didn't know a) how big to make the hole. B) if there's a place to or not to drill it or if its all the same. Which it should be it just goes.to the valley. How is the original tube placed? Pics? Is it press fit or o-ring? What's the cover to rocker clearance from the very back of the valve cover. On the firewall side.

Re: 283 valve cover on a 350?

edelbrock sells intake that comes drilled and includes tube, thats what I put on my 350

However, they do sell just the tube and they have instructions on edelbrock website with machining dimensions
