87 needs the seat recovered. Anyone know the part number for a GM oem replacement?

My dealer will search for one if I have the part number he says. I ordered one from classic industries and it was not close enough to original for me sent it back.

thanks

Muscle Car did an episode on restoring a interior back to original.
http://www.powerblocktv.com/player/s...-10&ep_show=MC

Much of the interior came from Classic Industries. And matched the OEM upholstery

Hope this helps

thanks, but from ordering their cover before I can tell you atleast their truck line covers are lacking it's a simulated plated material look by little black dots in the material to simulate a plated look.

everything about the cover is way off.

if anyone can get ahold of the parts number someone in the early 90's could have gone to the dealer and ask for to get a new seat cover I can get me hands on it but I have no way to find out the part number and the dealerships just tell me we don't carry it anymore sorry and we can't give out part numbers.

so i'm ata dead end road!

Have you tried SMS auto fabric? I have yet to try them, but they have just about anything though, and know exactly what you need. I have used them before and they are A+ to deal with.

Any follow up on this thread? I would like to find a place to match the factory color and fabric of my seat as well.
