Re: s10 frame and running gear

I'm sure people have done it if your looking for a kit no one makes it for a s10 frame. But there is a frame swap kits for a gm b body and 73-87 gm pickup frame http://www.e-zchassisswaps.com/1955.htm

Re: s10 frame and running gear

Its not a bolt in but i would trust a 1/2 ton frame and drive train over a s10s.And the 88-98 will give you you the ifs 4x4 you want also.

Re: s10 frame and running gear

S10 running gear is weak under an S10, let alone a fullsize truck.

Re: s10 frame and running gear

the track width is better for a 4x4 with the s10,, but they are weaker, I'm going with the s10 4x4 when I swap over,, the front track width is almost the same as stock..but if you want ifs and not 4x4,, just do the mustangII..frams are about the same width also..good luck
