long bed or swb stepper?

My truck is a long bed thats in really good shape, however I have located a swb frame with step side bed that I can score for 400 bucks. The bed sheet metal looks pretty good but doesn't have a tailgate. I really like the idea of having a swb mainly because it will fit nicely in my garage. I don't mind the work of switchin things over to the swb frame, but I am curious to hear opinions of others. Feel free to offer comments and opinions.

I should be able to sell my long bed and make up the 400........

Re: long bed or swb stepper?

Both are tricky...you have to do a long bed or a step side just right or they don't look good to me. They just end up looking awkward, but I IDE stick with the long bed. IMO. Good luck with whatever you decide!
