Key blank code for factory tool box - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I recently picked p a 72 GMC with a factory tool box. It is locked, but the dealer wrote the code in the owners manual.

Is it the round key and what letter code for a 72?

Hopefully something cool is locked inside!!!

Here is a key chart I made up that lists the code series and the key blanks they use.

If yours uses the oval head key it won't be listed in this chart.
