Exhaust manifolds question...
Ok so I dropped my 350 vortec in my 71 c10 frame today went in like a champ but it was from a 2000 van and the manifolds hit so I assume the truck ones would work. Anyone know before I go and pull a set?

Re: Exhaust manifolds question...
Harpie I have not yet tried my truck manifolds on yet. Here is a pic of another member JohnT71 truck. He is also running the 96-98 Vortec 5.7. You can see in this pic it looks like he is running the stock manifolds from a truck. I wonder if the truck manifolds are the same as your van manifolds? I can check the casting number for you to compare. Try PM'ing him for details. I sure hope they fit, I guess I will get headers if they don't.

Re: Exhaust manifolds question...
Just run the original style rams horns. They should fit. I ran standard SBC headers on my 60 chevy with vortecs. Before bolting them on just double check the port with a stock gasket. Having the manifold bigger than the port wont hurt a thing. Might just take a little grinding to fit properly. Bolt holes where identicle.
