So there is a huge price difference on aluminum radiator vs plastic and brass.

This is the one I bought, I have been told it is nice and should fit well.

Re: spend the money on alluminum radiator?
depends on what you want to do......It dropped in a FSR 2row/triple pass radiator (all aluminum) for $240. now what I lost when doing that was the trans cooler (had to purchase and mount on front side) and no drain plug in those radiators. the trans cooler is relatively cheap I got a large one for another $75 and had it installed in less than 30 minutes.
aluminum dissipates heats better than copper, is lighter, and really looks good in the truck. Plus with a triple pass radiator, the coolent cycles three times as long to cool better. Spend it to save it!!! A replacement stock radiator here is close to $200 by itself. |
