which wheels would u guys pick?
I been lookin at wheels lately.I want to replace my rallies eventually. At first I was gonna go with boss 338s or American racing rev 105 wheels. But so many ppl(especially on this site)have these. I want to be different. I'm tryin to decide between these...the first and second are American racing 890 and dagger; the last one is Dale Earnhardt jr DJ708...which do u guys think look best? they're all 17' wheels btw

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
hmmmmm. i see those and i think of the glamour trucks. you know, "big lifted" diesels with the big wheels, chromey junk and always washed and waxed even though they g for the offroad look

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
If I am just looking at the rim itself then I like the first one. I am not a big fan of black rims but I like those the most out of the three. Do you have a current side shot of your truck?

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
Not of fan of either of them. Doesn't really fit the truck in your avatar. But if I had to pick it would be the first one.

None of the above but get what you like, wheel preference is very personal

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
None of them are my cup o' tea, but if I had to pick I'd go with #1.
I'm with cory d, they look like mall crawler rims.

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
With the style of your truck, big mirrors, mud flaps, etc, I think the stock look with rallies look best. Maybe if you got wider rallies and painted them a different color, that could give you a new look. But if your dead set on those newer wheels then Id say #1 & #3. Alcoa style wheels would look good on your truck too.

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
If there were no other wheels on the earth iŽd pick #1 but like 74 stepside mentioned alcoa style wheels look good on low longbeds!

None of those. They are all ugly wheels.

x4 ...I'm only 30. I am not a fan of 99% of the wheels on the market right now.

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
I'm not 30 I'm 23 but I agree those are something you would see on more of a modern day truck.
Here's what I put on my 77 there 15's there mb wheels, I've seen plenty of trucks with them but for me it still compliments the truck in its own way. My steelies were beat to crap and beyond repair so I had to get me some new rims and tires.

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
well thanks for all ur inputs fellas...based on all ur opinions I think i'll just go ahead and get the boss 338s or rev 100s(they both look the same)...I see alotta u guys have em and they do look pretty good. i'll probably get the gunmetal color. I like the rallies but I just want something better and more modern. I'm not in my 30s yet lol..
pic is of a rev classic 100.. |

Re: which wheels would u guys pick?
just my 2 cents. they do nothing for me. no matter what anybody says it's your truck and we all like something different. pick and install what you like as you will be looking at them and cleaning them. in any event send a photo when you get your new wheels on.
