Whats the inside of your gas tank look like?
Bought this truck a few months back....been sitting for a number of years. Threw some gas in it and it ran ok....needless to say the gas gauge didn't work. Had this new tank and sender sitting around from another truck I ended up selling.

Wow. That's pretty yucky looking.
Congrats on having a good spare tank! ![]()

Runs better now....if you can imagine that!
Old tank is full of junk. First thing I would recommend to all those who have a truck that has sat for years, at least change the sender unit.
