power brake booster help

I ordered a master cylinder, booster, and bracket from a vendor on Ebay. I got it in, it all looked good. However when I mounted it to the fire wall it is at a downward angle. My truck was originally equipped with manual drum brakes. Am I missing something?

I don't know why they do that but I seem to recall the few I've seen in pictures have been tilted like that as well. someone with more experience will chime in shortly I'm sure.

Mine is the same way and i dont like it but i believe thats how they are. I thought about making shims for the bottom of mine to make it a little more level, But i am afraid the hood might hit if i did. Have not studied it out that much yet

All of them I have seen are angled slightly down... Mine is original and that way...

Re: power brake booster help

I never cared for the droopy boosters that protrude so far into the engine compartment. You can bolt it straight to the firewall, but it takes some mods.
