72 Shortbed conversion

Starting a build thread on my 72 Cheyenne. Its getting hacked up right now from a longbed. Ill post some progress pics as i receive them from the guy doing the work. Big thank you to Stevo427 for getting me in contact with him. Heres a couple pics of how it looked when i got her.

Welcome to the board! That truck is the perfect choice to convert to a SWB...I hope it's not a hack job; a lot of projects end up a disaster if it isn't done right. Good luck with your project!

Congrats on the new rig! I've seen some awesome conversions here that you'd never be able to detect was a conversion job!
So much talent on here and I'm sure you're going to find a ton of useful threads to help in your build!

There was a pretty ugly dent he worked out for me. You can tell where it was by the messed up trim.

Just cut down a bed I had and cut a extra frame. For an experiment, turned out great and pretty easy. Going to put the bronze Cheyenne on that set up.

can you take a few pictures of the inside of your cut bed?? or better yet did you tack pictures as you went on the bed?

Picked up these for my truck, yes they are off a mustang. They look very similar to the 17"torq thrust wheels. Got them for 200 bucks with good tires so another 100 for the adapters i think i did pretty good.
