My new SQUARE!
So I just bought another square body. It's a 1979 K20. Newish tires, newish 350 motor, newish tranny.
I have the receipts for the whole drivetrain build and it adds up to over $7000. Best part is I picked it up for $2K!! The body has rust, but everything is tight! A/C works! The speedo doesn't work, that's it. Question: PO said the motor was just 'rebuilt' but it has center bolt valve covers. Could it be a crate motor? Where can I find codes to find out? Here's a pic of it next to my current 85 gmc project Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: My new SQUARE!
thats a great deal, could be a crate motor or a rebuilt used motor, you need to look for number on block but either way if it runs good who cares
